    Has anyone ever read The Raven?
    If you have what did you think about it?
    I did and i though it was just weird.

    I read it in year 7, I thought it was a bit dodgey.

    Aww, I love that poem! I'm quite a fan of Edgar Allan Poe though. I LOVE the structure of it, it's amazing 'cause it isn't blank or rhyming couplets, but intricately woven to ensure the result is really phonologically pleasing.

    Why did you think it was weird? It's not a great narrative poem, its allure lies in the wording rather than the story behind it. It's almost...conceptual.

    Quoth the raven, nevermore...
    Try everything once, even the things you don't think you'll like.
