Well duhh... 3000 people die in America and they're remembered every day through America and half of Europe and wherever else; more than that amount of people die in Africa and no one cares? Well..No it isn't, countless thousands of Jews were killed in concentration camps during World War 2 and you say 2 buildings being destoryed and 3000 people dying is worse?
What about Africa? Hundreds of people, including children die every week in Africa but does everyone say "We all need to help Africa" no, they don't some people do but everyone seems to think 9/11 was huge, but it wasn't, America dropped an A-Bomb on Hiroshima which killed around about 70,000 people directly and about 60,000 people through radiation poisoning and you say 9/11 was the worst disaster, 3,000 people big woop, yes it's sad that people lost their lifes but that was like 6 years ago, get over it, the past is the past and whining about it wont help

I agree with Neil also. It is over-rated. There is no need to remember any event in history. The future would not care, what is the main point is that you're alive now, you could not change what happened in the past.
