Do you prefer studying with music on or are you the type who can't stand it?

People at work think they should be allowed to listen to music as it'll help distract them and focus on the work. It doesn't work for me. If I focus on something like work, I can't hear any music anyway. I used to listen to my ipod when walking to college. Sometimes, I realised I'd listened to 3 songs without hearing any of them because I'd zoned out and was intently focused on something else. Used to freak me out actually haha

So listening to music wouldn't help me at all lol

I find music relaxing and doesn't distract me, I'll typically work better with music.

In work we're allowed to listen to music through headphones if we want but I typically don't as we talk a lot.

Same as a couple of people above. Will tend to avoid songs with lyrics as they risk distracting, though I did listen to a lot of stuff during my last great revision period which had lyrics and I didn't get distracted too much so maybe I'm changing.

I usually listen to film soundtracks or Spotify playlists without lyrics, I find it hard to work in complete silence
