Israel's Ground Forces Enter Gaza

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip – Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak says the campaign against Gaza's Hamas rulers "won't be short" or easy.

He spoke shortly after Israeli tanks and infantry rolled into Gaza after nightfall, launching a ground invasion that escalated the week-old offensive against the Islamic militants.

The campaign "won't be easy and it won't be short," Barak said.

Flames rose in the night sky from a Gaza target hit by an Israeli missile strike as the ground invasion got under way.
This pretty much means a lot more people are going to begin losing their lives

Tbh I hope they fail and the hamas soldiers still survive.
It was never upto the UN to split palestine into two to make seperate states, should of left it the way it was with it being mixed, I believe them segregating the arabs and jews to each of their own sides is what caused all the hatred in the first place. Blame it all on the US.
