    Default Bargain??

Just purched a 09 macbook on a win, have an 08 macbook lying around which I got for 50 quid last year, and with an SSD in it was actually fine to use and I wouldn't have guessed it was nearly a decade old, so gonna upgrade the SSD when this arrives from the seller.
So got this one for £150 which I don't thinks too bad?

Do you think iv got myself a bargain?

    2.26 core duo
2gb ram (will be upgrading to the max)
    OS X Sierra (latest os)

and it looks in great condition too (i love the old white macbooks)

That is a chunky monkey. Surprises me that they support hardware as old as 09 with the new OS. Not a bad deal considering its an Apple product

£150 is a decent price for any computer, can't expect it to run amazingly but if all you want it for is simple stuff that'll be cool!

didn't know you could upgrade ram on a mac, that will deffo improve it a bit!

Not something I would buy, but again as said, it is a heck of a bargain for an Apple product!

How anyone can think £150 for any eight year old consumer laptop is a 'bargain' is beyond me

Once you slap an apple logo on it the age doesn't matter so much haha.

Honestly If it were down to me, I would've saved a bit more money and either built my self a nice custom pc or, brought a decent priced pc prebuilt. Maybe this is because I am not a fan of a MacBook, even though I use one regularly for Video and Picture editing..

I know that is very hypocritical of me, but they can be handy for somethings, I guess (Much to my hate)

Depends if people remember to take off those marketing eye shades :p

No matter what brand, and 8 year old device today is simply not very good.
