This debate is regarding the individual whom is responsible for this holiday. I won't put too much of my perspective into this debate as I would love to know and see what everyone else thinks of this topic.
If you are unaware of who Jesus was;

Jesus[e] (/ˈdʒiːzəs/ jee-zuss; c. 4 BC – c. AD 30/33), also referred to as Jesus of Nazareth or Jesus Christ,[f] was a Jewish preacher and religious leader who became the central figure of Christianity. Christians believe him to be the Son of God and the awaited Messiah (Christ) prophesied in the Old Testament.

Now, All scholars do and have agreed that Jesus was in fact a person, but the main thing is if he is biblically reliable. Scholars are still debating but maybe there is a scholar in the crowd?
So the Question stands:
Do the Biblical Jesus and Historical Jesus line up? Or is he not credible?
And to even take it a step further. Do you believe that the scholars are misled and Jesus really isn't real?
