    Default Mothers/Fathers day question

Do you find it weird to wish people a happy mothers/fathers day when they are not actually your mum/dad?

I've never seen that happening in the UK, although I'm not a mother so maybe that is why. One thing I do find weird is when people post it on social media, even when their parents do have social media. Go say it to them, not your friends.

yes true attention seeking that is, all for a few likes. I've never been one for spreading it on social media and usually just message my mother through text or call

I find it weird saying it to my parents lol. We don't really make a big deal of it and my parents are kinda over it.

Never said it to anyone other than my parents though.
