    Default Weekly Arcade Tournaments

Hey guys. I've had a talk with laura about me taking on doing a weekly arcade tournament which would have set days, time etc cause people seemed to have enjoyed the arcade tournaments so being in this role where work is little I thought why not take it on? I've created a poll for you to vote in to see how many would actually be interested in partaking in this.

What I have actually been thinking about is it will follow the old system of how Chris did the arcade tournaments recently because that seems to be the only efficient way to do it with our system of the arcade. For the first few weekly tournaments I was thinking we could have a voting thread that would be open to vote for the games you want to play (you suggest, i set a poll, you vote) voting would be open from tuesday - thursday and you would have friday, saturday, sunday and monday to play (or vise versa if you want). Obviously if this is a success then we are eventually going to play through all the games so then you will suggest new games to be put in the arcade but then swapped out for next weeks game.

You can win icons, vip, tokens, credits, donator, rep, admin permissions & awards.

What I didn't really state was I have an idea for how it will all work but I want to leave it up to the community to discuss how it really should be ran cause I don't want to run something no one really enjoys

I'm happy for this to happen and I'd participate, assuming no scores and trophies are reset like previously suggested.

By swapped out for next weeks, do you actually mean remove the game? I don't think you should if that's what you mean lol

Might really depend on the game itself, if it's any good and if players want it to stick around. I'd like to see some good, new permanent games though.

Yeah of course, it will be good to see good games stick around, possibly you could submit feedback throughout the weekend when you are playing it and then it can be decided on if it will stay or not

Personally I don't really like the arcade but I know a lot of people have been interested in tournaments! If there was a cool game then I may join in for that one week or something but it's not something I tend to go to off the bat, I forget its there most of the time!!

I joined in with the arcade tournament that Chris held a while ago and that seemed to generate quite a bit of activity within the arcade. I reckon i'd be up for it as long as it wasn't too hard

I liked the way chris did it
It often involved adding a new game so it covered 2 birds with 1 stone.

I'm glad they're going to continue. If you need any help finding games that work with the arcade then let me know!
