Google it, or find out the website for your local bus services.

I think it would be worth it, you'd leave fairly early and have plenty of time there I suppose

I live in Nottingham, you can get a bus/train combo/alton towers tocket for about £20-odd. You MIGHT be able to get away buying a childs ticket.

I found one, but it seems wrong..
[First of all I go on a train to uttoxter [Or however you spell it.] & then go on a bus to AT..]
But its only £30.50 & you get the park entry with that...
Its £29.50 for me to get in, So £2 for a train & a bus all that way just doesn't sound right?

does anyone know if national express do it?

    Thats about right..

It costs me £24 from where I live (120 miles away from AT) to get to the park, and that includes entrance.. But seems I don't need entrance, I get the train and bus for £10.20 which is cheap!

Yeah, get the train Uttoxeter and then get either the Alton Towers bus, or the local bus which will take you to Alton Towers.. 33A if I remember? :s

Just get a taxi, is quicker and often cheaper if you split it.
