Sims is just omg. Just the best
The sims + expansion packs are good. The sims 2 + expansion packs are good aswell. If/When there is a magic expansion pack for The sims 2 then that will be amazing i think

OMG I HATE YOU FOR BRINGING THIS UP.
I used to love playing sims. I had vacation, magic, the yellow CD [ adouble disk], pets, superstar, and something else. Then I got stupid linux. gahhh, I HATE IT.
i lost most/if not all of my cd's now anyways.

sims 2 loads slow if your PC isnt fast enough . Sims 1 was amazing because the graphics were just perfect :p.

However I think sims 2 pets will look so much better than sims 1 pets.
I love the out of business expansion of sims 2 because its just elite .
