Hmmm, the guys at PitchforkMedia will probably get mad at me for saying this, but how about ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. I guess they would be grouped with new emo, but they're definatly a different breed. They are much more instrumental and artsy. I kinda juxtapose them with Brand New, but what do I know?

Here's a song by them. Dont mind the stupid video, the music video for it on youtube was very bad quality, this one is better.

But my favorite song by them doesnt have a video. Its called "It Was There That I Saw You", I would recomend that one. Very good listen.

is it just me or is this topic just spudee giving people abuse and telling them their band isn't emo? Taking Back Sunday blatently used to be emo, or have you not listened to the lyrics? The first album was unbelievably emo. Jimmy eat world are a good emo band (and before you try to argue that, they were one of the bands who first started the whole emo thing.)
Screamo is one of my favourite genres.
