Room's not too bad, I think the red screens look a bit weird though (the colour of the screen not the actual item itself.) Also the bit after the bookcases on the left side looks a bit empty but i doubt naything would look right there.

Yeah I agree with the left hand side, Ive moved the 3 front bookcases over one space, mainly to cover the floor.. but it looks ok now.

Not necessary and makes that corner look a little cramped
Looks good, struggling to think of improvements on the new one, you could try stacking menorahs on top of the area corners, may add a gothic feel to the room or may have the inverse effect and brighten it up Perhaps stack skull candles inside the top area corner in each stack so that just the candle shows or as little as the skull shows as possible, may reduce the gothic effect while still keeping the creaky library theme going. Mice? Couple of mice might not look too bad if you are going for the gothic library image.
