Arrow Muslim Prisoners set to sue prison over ham butties..

Prisoners shouldn't have rights, one you commit a crime your rights should cease to exist. This is political correctness gone mad - again.

What is the world coming to. Ham Butties? Their was another thing like this where Muslims working in supermarkets didnt want to touch the Alcholol and put it up on the shelfes because it was against their religion. Pathetic i think.

It's their beliefs.. gotta respect them if they're prisoners or not.. but the whole sueing act is taking it abit far/milking it for all it's worth.

    Its their religion, respect it.

I think sueing is a bit far though, and the protesting......

What, so everytime someone commits a crime they loose all their rights? Does this include car fines, or silly things such a littering?

Im assuming you mean serious crimes, where prison is a punishment? I agree to come degree. For rapists and murders I agree with you, but not sure about other things. Depends where you draw the line really.

Even if someone commits a crime their are still human so they should be aloud basic human rights. Anyway if I was in that position I wouldnt sue, I would just ask for it not to happen again and they werent forced to eat it?

I agree with you but to be honest, they come to our country, commit crime and then complain when they aren't fed up to their standards? Perhaps if they didn't commit the crime or whatever they did to be in their, they could pick exactly what food they wanted in the real world?

Alot of muslims were actually born here so you cant say they "came over to this country". Maybe their parents/grand-parents came over to our country. but if they were born here and had an English pasport they are classed as English. If a vegetarian was in prision they wouldn't be fed meat? So surely it would be the same for someone who was religious?
