If you've always though Harry Potter is a book for geeks. You're probably the type of person who will enjoy it

I read that book, it was really tedious and boring in my opinion lol. But, I am very picky when it comes to books.

    Motherless Brooklyn by Jonathan Lethem
Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides (same author of the virgin suicides)

Both have dark moments to it but they are cleverly written and my favorites. You are truly engaged in what the main character is thinking. Their urges, decisions, etc.
