Is it possible to set it tasks with very limited internet activity as i could leave my laptop going on it 24/7, but it's not permantly connected to the internet and i'd have to update it every couple of days. ???

Well i wouldn't recommend using it on your laptop for more than a few hours at a time.. If it is a single core processor it will max it out 100% = lots of heat (especially for a laptop). But i do think you need to be connected to the internet when ever Work Unit s completed

Yeah don't worry, i know . I used to leave it for days on end at 100% encoding films. I have my ways of (trying) to keep it coolish.

    Is it possible?

Yeah i've almost burn myself on mine. I've seen it hit 80 :8. It'll be interesting for me to see whether it dies or not. I could do with a new one.
