I've asked her to explain but I get it when she explains it there n then but its quite quick so I don't pick it up.. I listen in lessons but I just can't seem to keep it in my head! Anyone else do Statistics or Maths A Level? Need help with some work

The best thing to do is do what my cousin did at college. He's partially deaf and he used to use a mini voice recorder to record what teachers said and then play it back at home or during homework/revision so he never forgot how to do things after the lesson.

Lol. Try these sites: http://www.mathsrevision.net/alevel/statistics/ &
http://www.mathshelper.co.uk/als.htm I always used to be scared to ask my teachers to explain stuff again but my Dad was like, "If you ever don't understand in lessons, ask the teacher. It's what he/she is there for and it's what they're getting paid for."

The only thing i can suggest is to do the boring thing and read over all the work you've done that day once you get home and read back to where you got stuck and try to read through some of the worked examples that are in your text book and follow the same stages for the easier questions and work up. Also, speak to your teacher about the exact part's you're not understanding at the end of a lesson.
