    Default I'm taking the plunge....

Today, I am buying my iPhone.

Couple of things I want to ask...

    1) Is there any way of jailbreaking them without voiding warranty?

    2) I have a current O2 contract with the web bolt on, will this be sufficient to browse the web on my iPhone?

    1) Well no, but if you have problems all you have to do is restore your phone via iTunes and it will be back to the normal firmware. Meaning they won't know you've jailbroken it.

    2) Yes if you have the unlimited web bolt on you will be fine, but i think they swop your your tariff over to the iPhone one if you are getting it on contract. Im guessing your buying a PAYG phone and just putting your contract sim into it?

Mind changed for the moment, contemplating whether to just go for an old 2G one for half the price.

Depends whether you want 3g speeds or just normal GPRS.
I've got the 2g and it does the job for me, i have bolt ons aswell, the internet speed is still quite fast considering you get it wherever you are.
I'd recommend getting the older version, cheaper aswell.

When you buy iPhone 3G pay and go at o2 they give you a free web bolt on.

Also, I wouldn't buy, they're updating the iPhone in 3 months.
