i could go without food for a day/day and a half normally but dont forget you're travelling so you'll definately need the energy. I flew to canary island which was a 5 hour flight and i thought i didnt need any food, turns out by the time i got there i was starving so much i threw up cause of it. nice. i guess the travelling requires more energy cause your body had to adapt to it all.
hehehe
I try to avoid the airplane food, but if i have to so eat the sandwiches and snacks.
Never travelled on budget airlines, so I'm served good quality food when I'm on a plane, which can be as often as monthly. Basically 30 quid is just out of line, I have never seen something so expensive- the budget airlines here charge 3 quid max.
If you're on a 12 hour flight sandwitches pre bought or home made will do the job, with a few extra snacks.

Usually when you go on long flights you get complimentary meals and beverages. I absouloutely love it! I know a lot of people don't. I'd hate to have it everyday, but when I fly I always look forward to the meal, like you get loads.
Manchester City
Oxford United
Woodley sports
y'know.
when i went to australia it was all free and i still didnt have a proper meal. i cant stand aeroplane food, just the smell of it is pretty awful. they woke me up at one point to give me a 'beef wrap'. it was lukewarm and tasted like melted plastic D:
Some of the plane food is nice but most of it is horrible
