I chose one that wanted BBC when I can get AAB purely based on my friend who needed AAB to get into his first choice and BBB to get into his second, majorly mucked up his exams and came out with BBD and didnt get into either.

If I mess up and get worse than BBB then I can always go through clearing. Touch wood I will get at least AAB
Im in my first year of university and apllying for uni was a nightmare when trying to make choices! I wanted to live at home still for various different reasons, so I'm at a university up in Cambridge and I absolutely love it.
My advice is to visit the universitys that your putting on your applications, especially if your going to be living there. You dont want to not visit them and then go there hoping for the best that you'll like it from how it sounds - its a huuuge mistake trust me, you will only get a feel for the place if you go =]
Thats pretty much it really, try not to go by league tables to much either as it could be one of the "top" universities but it may not be the one for you =]
Good luck with it all! Hope this helps a bit.
This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make..EXPLODES
Danielle
it was like the hardest thing ever because i really had nothing to base my choices on :/
3 choices to go.
When Edinburgh say they want BBB its not always the truth told, many experiences are based on point systems such as getting good AS levels as well as GCSE's check the times site and look why they say dont pick Edinburgh uni. Its such a high uni and would rather take students with AAA than BBB
