Well its coming up to the time were they both come out!
In just a few weeks, and they both have nice price tags at £20-£25 for pc/mac

And from the past few years which i have been on, i can say i 100% prefer football manager, but what are your own opinions and will you be buying either of these games?

is fifa manager different to normal fifa 12?
football manager have got the management simulation market locked down
fifa should stick to what they're good at, and leave the big boys to the real game
can't wait for fm12 as well, my life will end

    yeah basically

fifa12 - can play football matches
fifa manager - can only manage your side and do tactics transfers etc etc

I don't know why they don't just focus on FIFA 12 'Career/Manager Mode' and improve that. I think it'd be a lot better than running two separate titles.
