iPhone 3GS will be cheapest, I think it was announced as $50 PAYG in the US, so expect similar in the UK when the 4s comes out.

If you were going for a 4s on PAYG you'd have to pay for the phone upfront then top it up every month.

I meant the price drop being a result of the 4s release, not the 4s on PAYG.

The iPhone 3GS is available SIM-free from Apple for £319. http://store.apple.com/uk/product/IP...co=MjU5MTk3ODM
    It's available from Orange for £299.99 (with a £10 topup), O2 for £349.99, Vodafone for £400.

The iPhone 4 is available SIM-free from Apple for £429. http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MD128?mco=MjU1NTYxNzA
It's available from Orange for £509.99 (with a £10 topup), O2 for £504.99, Vodafone for £510 (N.B. This is for the 16GB iPhone 4, not the 8GB one)

These prices will change no doubt, because the 3GS prices seem to be from before the 4S was announced.

The PAYG price for an iPhone 3GS has been £299 for a few months now because I remember checking their iPhone prices, so it's possible that it'll go down further soon.
