what omg how do you manage to get 300 plays of one track in a week!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is unreaaaal. even when i get 500 plays of shikari per week the tracks are only usally in the 20's/30's. wow hahah impressive.
I am obsessive about listening to music all waking hours and I barely sleep because of work. I tend to repeat songs over and over for ages too which explains why I get thousands of plays of a certain track (i.e. This Is What Makes Us Girls - Lana Del Rey) over a couple of weeks and then listen to it a lot less frequently. I get hooked on one track and can't get enough of it! Roughton would be proud of you, by the way!

Yes, it started with me thinking "I don't want to make my bed, I need something to motivate me," so I started going through my library. I wanted something I don't usually listen to. Other possible 'make my bed' tracks included 'Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer)' by Sophie Ellis-Bextor and 'Our Lips Are Sealed' by Hilary and Haylie Duff. The vibes I got were: "I am twelve and mummy wants me to do my bed, I wish I was Lizzie McGuire," from the Duff track, "I can be sexy and make my bed and wiggle about while doing it and no one will see and I promise I won't be embarrassed for myself and I promise to delete it from my lastfm and I promise to just play it once," for LMFAO and "British people are so happy to clean, I saw the short skinny one and the tall stout one on that British show cleaning houses. I bet they make beds," for Sophie's song.
In the end I chose LMFAO but broke most of the promises. I wasn't sexy at all about it, I was embarrassed for myself, apparently I left it on my lastfm and apparently I played it thirty times after I was done making the bed. I only kept the other two - I wiggled at the appropriate "wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle - yeah" time and I am pretty sure no one saw me. All in all, though, you called me out on this one.
