I thought this too, however I am almost 100% certain I have DSPS, it's just a matter of going to the doctors to get this clarified.Insomnia isn't when you find it hard to sleep before 2am. People are too quick to labels themselves as insomniacs these days. You just need to adjust your sleeping pattern or get used to waking up early with little sleep. I used to be really tired in the morning unless I got a good seven hours, but over the years I've just been reducing the amount of sleep I get and now I'm okay with around four or five. Otherwise if you want to force yourself to wake up then have a shower or slap yourself in the face or buy some smelling salts or something.

OT : Breakfast is very important to kick start the day. Make sure you have a light bfast by eating food with low calories like toast etc. Stop eating bacon or any other meat cause it'll make you feel sleepy. I know there's a biological reason for that since I've learnt that before but I forgot. Anyhow, good luck with your sleeping patterns!
walk, cold shower & an energy drink usually do it for me and I get really tired.
I really struggle some mornings and even when I'm out of bed I'll like bump into things and still be half asleep haha. Normally once I get into the bathroom and start chucking water at maself I kinda wake up
