I like books but there are other electronic devices apart from a kindle that can help. With a kindle etc its good if you want to read in bed and with me sharing a room its nice to.be able to read in the quiet. I like them both for different reasons.

i think i'd like a kindle, reckon i don't have money to buy books enough on it though and i'd prob waste it.

as it is, i just read the same books over and over.

I suppose a kindle would be good for holidays, because you only have to take one 'book' to read loads of stuff.

But I like the smell of books..

i think i would prefer a book than a kindle, if i was using a kindle it would probably distract me and make me tired, haha.

Nothing like the smell of a new book and the feel of the pages between your fingers

I've tried using a kindle and I didn't really like it, it's not the same as flicking through the pages of a good book.

I do like the satisfaction of coming to the end of a 'real' book, but it's just so much easier!

never though about it until now. I suppose if you go on a holiday and don't want to take 20 books with you a kindle will be good. but who reads while their on holiday anyway. I sure as hell dont. last thing on my mind

I've just based my English internal on this exact topic, imo real books are much better as you can relax with them at night before bed whereas the screen of a kindle will affect your sleep patterns and the release of melatonin. Pretty much I could talk for hours on why books are better than kindles

@JerseyShore but who takes 20 books on holiday? Surely 1 or 2s fine plus you wont worry about loosing them
