Knew it was going to happen but I was really praying for it not to. I don't know whether it was done purposely, but Toms first appearance was on the roof of Waterloo Road saving the head teacher from throwing throwing himself off the building. Rather fitting that his final appearance was falling from the roof himself.

Haha true, a lot of them do leave that way. When was the last time a teacher actually died? Pupils die on the show quite regularly but teachers dying is rare.
