Today sees the opening of a brand and new exciting website - SMStoPayPal is the new way to buy online goods and services using just your phone. It’s so easy! Choose how much you want to send, tell us who you're sending the money to, text the short code number and we’ll do the rest!
This release is for UK residents only, other countries are to come.

I remember when it was in its first stages of development and thinking what a great idea it was. Congrats on finally getting it off the ground, I can see it making you a wealthy man What are the exchange rates like? I assume it doesn't take for example £10 and give you exactly £10 in your paypal account?

Wow I'm glad you completed it! Just out of curiosity, how is the charge calculated (e.g. Need £4 pay £6)? Is it just a fee or are Paypal charging you? In future, will this go down or will you have special offers like a no fee day or whatever.

Hey Mark, I believe it's made up by the fee which Impulse are charging and another which is made by SMStoPayPal. Maybe Ross can explain more about that.

I think there's a glitch as by default it displays: you need £4 and you pay £7 but when you enter it manually its saying you only get charged £6. The large fee is putting me off it imo

Yeah it does glitch sometimes, I entered 1.00 at one point and it said I was going to be charged £14.00. Then I typed it in again and it corrected itself to £2,00 or w.e :L

Yeah we'll be sorting that out in the next day or two. About the fee, we'll try and see what we can do so that it's lower.
