I guess it's one thing to say you'd watch it and another to actually watch it.

Though for me just the thought if it is awful.

From a deeply analytical point of view, it could be interesting to see "what the fuss is all about" if you are faced with child abuse claims and pornography allegations, because in order to fully understand the seriousness of the crime, you must actually see what makes it a crime. It happens all the time in rape cases.

Honestly, people who think this makes him an evil, twisted, vile human being no better than Jimmy Savile are too naive and frankly too dumb to function.
That's a really interesting argument and I didn't think of it like that

I didn't think of him as "vile" or anything but I didn't think of it like that +rep

Oh yeah his comments were pretty vile, as it takes away responsibility from the rapist and blaming the actions on the victim, which doesn't make sense. In some respects dressing up could be conceived as wanting to impress someone - but impressing isn't an invite for sex or even a relationship Rape is never justifiable.

Also, my comment was aimed at anyone in particular, just how he is generally being perceived and written about in the article.

No, you don't want to see threads like that because big words frighten you so instead you post non-stories and create a fuss about them.

I'm not too sure on this... I understand that from his profession he's seen it, and that's acceptable... Many people in certain professions have to deal with these things... But to say, if you were given the choice to watch it, he would... I don't know, that's a bit dodgy. I mean, surely he already knows what the fuss is about?

Given the chance, I certainly wouldn't. I'm not interested in it, and I'd rather not have some brutal thing stuck in my memory for the rest of time, I can't imagine things like that to be very pleasant. Why he decided to actually talk about these things though, I don't know.

And for everyone saying they would watch it, have fun with the government tracking your internet history for the rest of forever...

Give it a rest. Your pre-teen swag is not welcome here.
