Wait WHAT?! I thought they were doing an "Easter Special"

I heard the rumour to but with a new doctor I'm not sure if that would work - having one episode then a gap then more. I know series 8 itself will run without a gap so I can see them just doing that and having no special.

August isn't thankfully too far away well 6 months. The only problem with a August series for doctor who is it will be during the summer and doctor who tends to get better live viewing figures later on when it's much darker as people would rather catch up and catch the most of the sun

Heard this a few times but not sure if its just a rumour. Some troll has put a fake audition up online and has spammed it online keeping claiming it's real.

Keeley Hawes has just been announced as playing a villian in series 8, apparently a banker with a dark secret on another planet.

Also really happy to hear that the Horror Channel with start airing classic doctor who episodes from April after sorting out a deal with BBC worldwide

I've heard both of those, there's also a show airing on BBC (america)? about scifi, a documentary I think. There's also a ton of speculation on the names and writers of the first few episodes of s8
