It's that time of year again! The Grand National returns for it's 167th edition at Aintree race course. Attracting approximately 9 million TV viewers, it is certainly a popular sporting event - which is why we're taking this opportunity to offer you the chance to win a huge set of prizes!

All you have to do is PM Forum God with your predicted outcome of the race - so a full list of the runners in what order you think they'll cross the line in.

For every correct guess, you will receive 10 reputation points and 10 tokens. This means you have a chance of winning up to 400 reputation points and 400 tokens!
The person who makes the most correct predictions overall will also win 5 days of VIP for every one of their correct guess, meaning as a grand prize, you have the chance to win up to...

200 days of VIP, 400 reputation points and 400 tokens!

The closing date for entries is Saturday 5th April 2014 at 4pm GMT. This is 15 minutes before the race begins.
A full list of everyone's winnings will be posted later that evening and prizes handed out within due course.

Here is the order of positions for this years Grand National!
Please note, the runners who DNF (did not finish) have been listed in a place according to where they fell. However, some riders fell at the same hurdle and that is noted below. Therefore, those who fell at the same time will be given the same position number in the final ranking. If two riders have position 35, but you put one of them in position 36, that will count as a correct guess. However, if the rider pulled up BEFORE a gate, they will be positioned lower than those who fell AT the same gate.

To be fair, with only 24 hours notice, I'm quite pleased with the response. What I failed to realise is that with 40 horses, there are 815915283247897734345611269596115894272000000000 possible combinations, meaning the chance of winning the Grand Prize is about 1 in 815915283247897734345611269596115894272000000000. Any whom, the competition was intended to be quick and simple to enter so the prizes reflect that.
