Flying alone for the first time

so im flying alone for the first time june 11th- june 18th to visit my bf (Canada To USA), i've flown several times before with my parents and whatnot but never alone. any tips or advice? Im scared ill get like lost or sumthing D:

lol I'm dreading this too. airports are so intimidating. I'm sure it's all fairly straightforward though, take a variety of things to do just in case you get bored of something.

If you're really stuck then just ask for help. There are loads of airport staff standing about who're more than happy to help. Remember that your boarding pass will have all the necessary info on it anyway so even if you don't know how to get to your departure gate you still know the gate number and that will be plenty info for someone to help you get there. But yeah just keep your eyes peeled for the signs and you can't go wrong.

General advice would be: if you're taking anything value then keep it in your carry-on bag. Flying alone is pretty fun.

i flew back by myself a few years ago, i ended up tearing up but quickly got over it. it's fine really, just take a book and listen to a bit of music and you'll be fine. my flight was delayed by several hours, so i hope yours doesnt it was the worst thing about the flight :rolleyes:

lon the way back at uk border force i went to the desk by myself and they were like YOU'RE TOO YOUNG TO BE TRAVELLING ALONE despite going there with no problem - luckily i was with my older bro
