Haha oh god Lizardsquad, I remember when they first appeared on the scene and caused all kinds of mayhem. For clarification though, because nobody else has done it, Lizardsquad don't "hack" these sites, they flood their network with a ton of traffic, likely using either a botnet or a bunch of stress testing servers (supposed to be used legitimately to test a networks stability).
It's commonly known as a DDoS, the site is still there but you can't access it because a billion of connections are connecting to it. Sort of like how Tesco went down on the Black Friday sales, that's because their network can't handle the traffic.
Suffice to say if they've warned them, they'll have something in place to divert the traffic. You'd hope.

As @RyRy said, best to understand your definitions of hacking.
What's the point of attacking Habbo - there's only roughly 2k people online at anytime anyway - they won't gain anything from it.
Any idiot can do a DDoS attack.... overwhelming a system with more traffic than it can handle is not hacking
