It is my own personal preference to have a gap. I imagine future managers will make their own decisions about the month's structure but that is mine. The gap is usually only 3 days maximum but this month was a rather turbulent time for the department in terms of staff turnover so things slipped a bit in that regard. For June, there will be no gap because of an event the department is planning to host.

The gap at the end of the month was there for ages until Yupt changed it for a while, why the hell did none of you notice that for so long?

Anyway, I'm not sure what I think. I believe a gap is the problem but both @Shonly; and I used to agree that trying to make a competitions [admin] calendar including competitions that overlapped months was difficult to manage.

Because before that comps was a joke of a department overall, not just certain aspects of it

lmao comps won best department 2010 (back when Habbox was actually pretty decent in terms of activity) and had the tiny gap for that whole year and the year after that. For someone who's pretty smart, you clearly don't know what you're talking about.

Great to see people moaning when they don't enter competitions themselfs.

    A) You're dulling the department
    B) It doesn't concern you if you do not even use it.
    C) Why don't you apply to turn things around in the department.

Just because someone doesn't use a certain feature at Habbox does NOT mean they are not entitled to offer their own opinions/feedback on it. Especially when they may have used it plenty in the past before you were even active and know exactly how it works.

Anyone is entitled to voice their opinions regardless and defensive attitude towards the community from staff members actually "dulls" the department more. I think it's good that people are free to say what they think, and if you don't agree that's fine, but it's up to them whether they play a proactive part in helping or whether they are simply just offering an opinion.

    Are you actually being serious?

    A. Habbox has gradually died over the years and there are less and less active members - you need to consider that a lot of our members have now grown up and are growing apart from Habbox, but still come on the forum just for the community and the interaction between friends. Those complaining are not dulling the department, they are expressing their views and giving feedback.

    B. Great way to get more entries! I enter competitions if they interest me and the idea hasn't been recycled 200 times before, so that means I shouldn't express my view as I'm not really interested in entering at the moment?

    C. I wish you'd stop repeating yourself, yeah spamming habbox.com/comps is funny at every given moment, but trying to drill that the competitions department are doing bad on numbers is a little boring. You should be getting people to join because it's a fun department, not bribe people with rep and then turn on them when they don't want to apply!

Well done a department with lots of staff got an award that staff vote for. Also 2 weeks still isn't a tiny gap, and your plan of stopping things while supposedly doing the admin as opposed to carrying on with a system that was extremely successful is daft
