i'm more nervous than i thought i'd be honestly! i'm trying to not get myself into a panic but it's so hard because i can feel my heart race whenever i hear anything about results day.

quite worried about maths because my parents paid for me a tutor all year so if i don't get an A they'll probably slaughter me and the edexcel paper this year was so hard with the hannah's sweets question and what not. other than that i'm only really hoping for an A* in art and i'm not really worried about the rest of my grades but i'd like to get a B in everything else however i'll be lucky with a C in both core and additional science.

does anyone have any plans about how they're going to open their results?

oh no, poor joe! Am sure you will do well
Goodluck gina, i hope you get what you want
Rosie you sound like me, am worried because i don't want to disappoint other people Am worried about my history and food technology at the moment. I'd be happy with anything C or above. But goodluck rosie, i hope you get the grade you would like.

Am opening my results on my own as everyone is at work LOL gives me time to plan my excuses

Don't you dare get yourselves worked up guys! Especially if you think it'll disappoint people. I felt like that, but in the end it's just a letter. I did well in my GCSEs, but I put this expectation on myself because I thought I'd upset my parents if I did badly.

No matter what you get, you'll always have Habbox
I believe in you all, and if your parents are pooheads about anything, I'll come and find them!
    Good luck!

I will be opening myself then look then show it. Then laugh maybe at how bad I done. Then just show others. Then bugger off.

    here's what i hope i'll get:
    art: A*
    religious studies: A/A*
    drama: A
    maths: A
    french: A/B
    music: B
    english lit: B
    english lang: B
    core science: C
    additional science: C

i need atleast 6 A*-B's to get into the sixth form pathway they've set me into, so really the difference between and A's and B's doesn't mean much to me other than like i said in maths.

i'll be going to school with my mum in the morning to pick up my results however i've asked her to wait in the car so i can be alone when i open them, then i'll show my friends and teachers if i'm happy, if not i'll just go back to the car and talk to my mum about them and hopefully she'll be understanding.

TBH I'd be lucky if I get a B or an A. I only need 5 A*-C for my course.

    Anyways good luck.

Good luck everyone. I remember when I picked up my GCSE's and the teacher who was giving it to me asked me before she gave it to me 'what are you hoping you have?' and all I said was 'at least a C in maths' and she gave it to me and I did and I cried in happiness ahahahhaha

    But yes, good luck!
