That's actually quite a lot less support for the Queen than I'd expected tbh, thought it was only edgy communists and unwashed rockers who didn't like the monarchy

On a personal popularity level she comes higher but they didn't ask that in this poll, last ones I saw a few years back were at 80%+ level.

I honestly can't imagine what it will be like without our Queen, God Save Our King doesn't ring right to me. And we will never see another Queen in our life time, unless something happens to Charles, William and George. She might never have faced elections but she has lived through some trying times too. When a tragic event happens, like 7/7 I don't look to our latest PM, I always wait to hear if old Queenie has something to say. Thankfully there are not too many Republicans because I do love that we have a Royal Family.
