I don't think I would be able to slaughter an animal

Would find it hard watching an animal get slaughtered but it wouldn't put me off meat unlike some people in the comments of the video above where they're like OMG IMA GO VEGAN NOW CRYCRYCRY

vegans. *slaps them across the face with some steak*

The only reason I wouldn't eat it is because I'm lazy. I would've slaughter it but the rest of the job, nah. Tiring. Someone else do it, and I'll continue the eating part.

there is surely something satisfying from the slaughter + prep though

i have always, for some reason, wanted to capture + kill fish/rabbits in the British countryside and cook them on an open fire in the woods with herbs i have found growing around me. it's the heritage. the history. the rawness of it that appeals to me.

many westerners go to Asia and are in awe at how the Orient sources its food, from spices to meat. My belief is that we need to get back to it. It's just as magical to slaughter, prepare and cook a hare in the Somerset woods as it is to capture, prepare and cook fish from Bombay Bay.

while the stones of civilisation are a good thing, there's something about the raw earth i love. put me in a garden/wood and i'm happy. One can be all for the intensive farming of the Amazon yet at the same time be an avid grower of vegatables and fruits in patio/pavement pots. Balance!
