The marketplace is convenient, but I loved trading without it. I remember back in 2005 I would hang around in sinde's trade room (think that was his username) looking for good deals. Prices would fluctuate so much, it was fun. These days, there's so much furniture that the marketplace is kind of essential. Still, the game lost a huge part of itself with the decline of trade rooms as far as I'm concerned.

I think it's easier than going room to room trying to find what you want, especially as there seems to be a lot more stuff in the game now but I do miss having a trade shop yourself or going to rooms to find stuff.

I used to prefer it before marketplace and back before the merge and before rooms were bigger than 104 spaces..
Nothing beats trading in old school casinos for a gold amber worth like 17T aha

Yeah, I'm the same. I preferred it when you had loads of those trading rooms on Habbo because at least you'd be getting something for a good price and selling it at a good price too. Problem with the marketplace is that when you want to go and buy something you see it in the marketplace for WAY over what it is worth and as there's less shops on Habbo these days it's harder to find that item at a cheaper price!

    Yes this ^
Theres just so much furni nowadays that I can barely keep track. Back before the marketplace it was sort of easy to know the general range of prices for most things but now there's no chance. Especially if, like me, you return after a wee hiatus and about a million pieces for furniture has been added to the game.

I will admit it's rather convenient for us lazy people just to shove some furni in the marketplace and come back a day later to reap the rewards instead of spending hours trying to sell each piece!

Buying from it is just so easy too, if it's the right price why not just buy from there instead of searching loads of rooms
