Default How Autistic Are You - Quiz

Found this interesting quiz about the autism spectrum on the C4 website - I really believe it's a spectrum that we're all on somewhere rather than you have it or you don't!!

It's only 40 questions so doesn't take long

    my results:

I scored really low in social interaction but that's probably down to the anxiety which manifests in similar ish ways!

I was expecting around that tbh!

I think these are trash. It's obvious which answers will sway you either way.

I scored 5, I used to score much higher, get in.

I got 20/30 for sensory perception (people with autism score higher), 3/20 for social interaction (people with autism score lower), 8/20 for organisation and routine (people with autism score higher).

I scored five, which is in the middle between average and autistic. It says to consider specialist assessment if you scored six or more, so I'm within the regular. Scored average on social interaction (8/20) and organisation and routine (7/20), but autistic average on sensory perception (17/30). I do find I am hypersensitive to certain sounds and get irritated by faint or distant noises. It mostly affects my sleep rather than day time activities, but has otherwise caused me some infrequent, minor issues in day-to-day life.

Been diagnosed with ASD for years so sorta pleased I'm near normal according to that. I do get agitated by the smallest sound so that probably bumps it up a lot.

The questions did seem deliberately worded though, the amount of flip-flopping between 'I do not ___' and 'I do ___' was pointless.

i get a high score cause of sensory perception, sounds, smells, touches etc have an impact on me. as a kid i would get rly stressed out at loud noises and i can sometimes feel like a sensory overload where i start to get headaches and shut down if there's too much sensory processing to be done.

If some of us are lower than the average, so on the other end of the spectrum, then what does that mean?

My friend always used to say I had 'reverse autism' in that things like insults or criticisms etc wouldn't offend me.
