Default Theresa May as Prime Minister

Curious to know, what does everyone think of Theresa May as Prime Minister?

Her popularity ratings have nosedived since the General Election and her future is very uncertain at the moment, and I wondered what people thought of her policies and her as a person? And should she stay or go this year?

For me, I am a May convert. Never used to like her. But since she became PM, she has carried out in terms of Brexit and other things actual conservative policies which is so... nice after 13 years of New Labour terror followed by... continuity New Labour under Cameron. For the first time in my lifetime, there's a PM I actually like and approve of. It's weird.

I also like her personality, or lack of personality. A lot of people say she can't connect with people - and that's completely true. But I like the fact she's boring and hardly seen. I like the fact I don't have to see her hugging huskies in Antarctica, chopping up onions in the kitchen on YouTube and the fact we never see or hear from her husband Philip May. The sight of Cherie Blair and Samantha Cameron gegging in on everything used to do my head in. We're a constitutional monarchy, not a presidential republic. The fact we hear so much from cabinet (Johnson, Davis, Hammond, Rudd) shows that cabinet government is finally back. Hooray.

    What about you?

Didn't mind her before the election campaign and wasn't that fond of JC but now the complete opposite

Very strong and stable but runs through too many fields of wheat tbh
just here to be political considering there's been a pretty one-sided viewpoint on here for a couple of years x

Think she should resign immediately. Can't think of a single good thing she has done since she became Prime Minister and she was disastrous as home secretary. I was surprised when I read this thread because you're the only person I've ever seen say anything positive about her.
