    Default First ever music concert/event

What are some tips for somebody who is going to their first ever live music concert?
Everyone likes to take pictures and videos. DO NOT GO OVERBOARD! Take a few pictures, a video here or there. Try your best to be in that moment and enjoy the music, the atmosphere, and even the people around you. You and the people around you will be much happier if you aren't watching the concert through your phone the whole time.
    ^ My pet hate.
Also, ear protection. even if you don't need it, its better to be looking at ear protection than looking for it.
    There's probably 100's more.

I agree with the not taking tons of photos/videos one. I'd also say just be considerate to those around you, you're all there for the same reason and that is to enjoy the show so there is no need to be a dick. Meaning, don't throw cups of beer/whatever, don't get annoyed when people are shoved into you because it happens especially if you're near the front as that's where it's going to be the worst, don't go into the crowd with the intention of pissing people off/starting a fight.

My main first time tips though are make sure all your items are secure, make sure you have a fully charged phone in case you need to contact someone/whoever you are with if you get separated, make sure you drink plenty as it gets hot and I've seen people faint (me included).

If you're going to see somebody you actually enjoy, getting to the front makes all the difference. Everything is a lot more intimate and enjoyable up close.

Yeah live in the moment. You have paid good money to see the artist so experience it, you're probably not going to watch the video you filmed of the whole concert anyway. The odd picture or video is fine though.

    Enjoy it!

Just enjoy it. Don't worry about what people are doing around you, chances are you'll never see them again!
