It's one of the new Netflix Original shows.

Sam, an 18-year-old on the autism spectrum, decides it's time to find a girlfriend, a journey that sets Sam's mom on her own life-changing path as her son seeks more independence.
I've watched it and while it had some good parts, I do think it's not a great portrayal of autism/parents dealing with autism. The Autism Speaks charity helped them with it, and they aren't a good charity as they tend to focus on the parents and see it as a burden they have to deal with which you can definitely see with the mum on the show, I just wanted to punch her.

My girlfriend is autistic and after watching it, she said it made her feel like a burden which isn't right. Not quite the message you want a show to send out to people who are on the spectrum really.
