From memory, and from a quick Wikipedia search, I cannot find a British Prince - even before the Acts of Union - with the name of Prince Louis. Obviously it is in tribute to Earl Mountbatten of Burma, but yeah very unusual. Very French! I like it.

Virtually all French Kings, especially in the House of Bourbon, went by the name of Louis.

Not as a forename, but both William and George have it as a middle name. Realistically these days none of the kids are gonna die off young of typhoid or anything so after the first they might as well call them Chardonnay and Tyson
