Smile [Disney] Who Runs The World? (Girls) - Ends 18th July

Disney has managed to be at par with the progression of our more open minded world rather than being enclosed and conservative. The portrayals of the women in their stories has now been steadily shown to have women of steel, courage and independence.

Who needs a prince that takes all the glory while his supposed to be princess has to go through a test of 'physical sensitivity' and 'worthiness' by sleeping on 7 matresses? Really? Well, not anymore! Now, say hello to Mulan, Elsa, Moana and so many others as the 'living' proof of how women can always shine and matter in their own way. Not to be the second to anyone. Or to be always in dire need of a good looking, rich and muscly guy. Women nowadays, are so much more!

So the question we've got for you is so simple. Who do you think is the most strongest and independent woman in Disney nowadays? Choose one and tell us why.

1 lucky winner will receive a Disney forum icon AND a Habbo babes 1 poster

There are many Disney characters that I have seen throughout the years that show moments of bravery and courage, but one movie in particular it showed me a women that was also courageous in her battles and always fighting from the bottom, and that was Mulan.

I think Mulan is the strongest and more independent Disney women because she stands up for her gender. A lot of people these days always say things like, "well, that's a man's job", but Mulan overcame that inequality and showed that women can do anything that a man can do.

Another reason why I chose her is because she saves lives!! She had so many fights in the movie because she was so loyal to everyone around her. She protected her friends and family, and even those that she wasn't very close with. She was willing to risk her own life to save the lives of those that she wasn't even necessarily in acquaintance with.

    You go, girl!

Moana because she’s full of courage and follows the water that calls to her. She even defies her father! She goes on an extreme voyage, being successful in the end, restoring peace and banishing the curse! Also, she sang How Far I’ll Go!
I do be that Habbo Legend.

    Elsa (from Frozen)

Elsa doesn't need a man to help her with anything, she does have issues but she's very secure and confident with herself. The themes of independence and family over all else makes Elsa more of a feminist than most other Disney females (she also managed to keep her sister from marrying pretty much the first guy she saw).

Moana because she shows the independence and freedom of women but also admits when she needs help, this is the sort or harmony the world needs!

Belle from Beauty and the Beast. When Gaston is a little too pushy she has no problem showing him to the door, and shutting it in his face. She also saves her father and offers up herself instead showing how strong and loyal she is. As well as being able to charm a beast back into a prince and showing him who is boss. Awsome character!

Brave! The scottish red head, cant remember her name but she’s awesome. A princess that wants to be strong and fearless instead of just sitting looking pretty for a lad!
