I need inspiration for walls and ornaments

my walls atm have nothing, I plan on putting speakers up soon but other than that I need posters or something

I also have cube units for my TV stand and DVD shelves, so I'm thinking of some ornaments to put into the cubes but I'm stuck for ideas..

This is strange, I was actually going to post a thread similar to this yesterday, but got caught up with things.
I'll post mine, but you won't get any inspiration from it I dont think lol and I'll tell you why when I post it... I'll wait till my mates wake up as they're currently sleeping in there haha

Ok so here is my living room...

I only moved into my house in November 2018, so I'm still working on the house atm, and as I've mentioned before somewhere on HxF, I've let my dad move in with me until he gets back on his feet, as a result he has his army of kids over every weekend, so out of my 3 bed house, he has 2 of them, and since I'm used to basically living in my room from when I lived with my mum, it's a hard habit to break out of, especially when it doesn't feel like I've quite moved out yet, even though I've been technically moved out for about 5 years now, as I lived with my girlfriend for just over 3 and a half years, but again, I was living at her dads house.... and also despite the fact I have a mortgage now and other various bills I'm now having to pay.

So that will explain the lack of furniture in my living room at the moment... As I don't use the living room, I don't particularly want to furnish it until he leaves lol... I bought the TV stand and the coffee table and everything else is his, and the coffee table has a towel on it because his kids are ******** basically lol, they keep throwing stuff on it and causing dents and scratches on my £200 coffee table, so dad put a towel on it... I was like... Well that's not the solution I was hoping for but it seems to work.

I have actually done a fair amount to the living room though, I've wallpapered it, painted the ceiling and walls, changed the single sockets on the walls into doubles and new chrome fittings, added blinds on both windows and curtains to match wallpaper and taken down the horrible polystyrene coving that was up there and replaced with a nicer one, and fitted new skirting boards and changed the door. I plan to have it carpeted, but again, this won't be done until dad moves out because I intend to get a cream carpet with flecks on it, and that mixed with kids is just a recipe for disaster, oh and I'm going to get my 55" TV mounted to the feature wall, and also fabric cream sofa - This one in fact: https://www.dfs.co.uk/roscoe/coe14am...l_Fabric_Sofas

I'll probably get a 3 seater and a 2 seater, and then an over reaching floor lamp that'll go in the corner somewhere, and then I'll get more sideboards to match the coffee table, and also a nest of tables to go beside the sofas, and then I'll probably sell the TV stand, since I'll have my TV mounted.

If you don't have it already, i'd suggest getting some Philips Hue lighting- looks great no matter what room!
