    Default Bread Knife

    Question..

When you get out a bread knife and use it on bread and that's all, do you bother washing it up or just brush the very few crumbs on the knife and put it back?

There's another shooting today, and this one was bad
I'm glad that we all hope and pray, but it takes more than that
We've been trying, we've been crying
Hoping that they will do more than keep lying
I need to believe that people can change
Or else this life has all been in vain
What's the point of fighting if we're fighting for a lie?

Do you also wash the measuring jug that you used to measure 200ml of water in?

I wash it because changes are when I'm cutting bread, I'm making a sandwich so then I'm putting mayo or something on it, so I use the knife to put that on and then I wash after

Depends if it's like a soft sticky bread but ALSO a bread knife is basically useless anyway. Unless your bread is hard as steel the serration just tears everything apart and leaves carnage everywhere while a properly sharpened chef's knife cuts in a straight line without ripping

When you slice your bread, do you smash it down and then cut or are you lightly holding it in place?

Delicate letting the sharp edge do the cutting rather than the pressure, otherwise it squishes out of shapeeeeeeee
