Israel have had gaza under siege for years, restricting food, water, electricity, supplies etc. Hamas want palestinians to move freely between israel and gaza and they got pissed so they started firing. Israel are the evil doers in this one, they seem to think that it is alright to completely wipe out a country's freely elected government that only wants the best for its people. The death toll in israel is nothing compared to gaza. Israel (and most conservative americans) seem to think that the collateral is acceptable. They seem to think that it's fine to kill people that go to work, go to school, have families just like they do as long as they 'kill the bad guys.'

Israel has been getting bombed, or mistreated or however you want to call it, for a great amount of time now..and it's about damn time they fought back. Yes the land was given to Jews by the UN..get over it. Move on with your life, and stick with whats happening NOW. America did the same with the indians, and people seem to ignore that fact. Great Britain used to have an expansion over the entire world, but nobody complained unless it happened to your country. But no, you only feel that Israel doesn't deserve it's land because it was given to us by the UN? I've got some news for you guys, that land would have become Israel whether it would be by force or not. There would have been a much greater war if that hadn't happened. Not to mention that the land was ORIGINALLY for Jew's, yes because of the history.

I can't believe you actually came out with "get over it" as a way of justifying Israel. That's like coming out of WW2 and saying "hey, the world's been kicking the Jews around for centuries, they need to move on with their lives, get over it, stick to what's happening now".

As for the land being theirs historically, that's only the case if you're actually religious. Yes, the Jews inhabited the area for a long time, but they took it over from others before (cf. The Torah/The Old Testament). The idea of it "belonging" to anyone is only the same as any conquered land.

Half of you don't even know the history. I can sit here and name each country/civilization that has ever attacked Israel/Jews.

The amount of heartbreak Jews have faced throughout history is the disgusting crime. It's about time as I said before, that Israel does something. Israel has given countless warnings and peace treaty's, but they kept saying no.

To be fair I think most of you may as well leave the topic and you're simply ****-stirring as you have no idea of history from the past century, specifically the relations between the UK & US with Israel since WWI. Some of you think that the US supporting Israel is recent? It goes back much longer than that.

I have no feeling for Israel at all and I've been supportive of Hamas for a while now but I do feel the air-strike of the school was Hamas's fault and not Israel's for once. It hasn't been looked at this way as it's easy to blame Israel for killing innocent children but Hamas knew their activists were going to be killed by Israel, the deliberately put them in a school to either deter Israel or to put shame on Israel (And it does seem to of worked) but I think it's quite clear Hamas deserve the blame here, they simply should not of go in the school, they're the one's who are sacrificing children.

Above: Please leave Atom bombs out of this, you'll be lucky-enough to never see any within your lifetime and the rest of the world would be left with no choice but to either wipe-out Israel or invade it if they dropped an Atom bomb on Gaza, bare in mind Gaza is still part of Israel and isn't a country and although they're killing people in Gaza, they're not wiping it out.

Put in a large town in Gaza such as Jibaliya and choose Hybrid mode then a bomb, although this is just a 'fun' resource, it's quite simple to see they'd hit their own country and potentially Egypt (Which would force an Arab attack on Israel).
