    Default Mining and Smithing

I signed up to runescape again two weeks ago, as until xmas I have no good pc games to play on my pc haha.

    Anyway my currently lvl's are..

    Mining - 44
    Smithing - 32

I make a lot of steel atm, and through the profits Ihave made have been fortunate enough to already buy adamant and rune armour, for when I have the rght levels. Currently I am half way to adamant (Defense lvl 25).

If you want big profits mine a lot of coal and iron.

For every 120 steel bars I sell at the GE I am getting 100k. Wrking towards adamantite ore atm. |Then the big one. Rune

I spend a lot of tikme mining, and actually bought members just because of the tons of extra mines you can get.

However atm I am using the non-members mine (I think) with the coal trucks. That mine is great

Anyone who does a lot of mining feel free to add Deltrate

If you get up ur ATK, STR and DEF you can kill greendragons and make 70K per inventory of bones and dhide.

Although, if you like mining and smithing so much, hey, whynot carry on with mining and smithing.

With 99 attack, 99 strength and 85 def I can get up to 500k per hour at green dragons. 70+ in att/def/str/hp should be enough to get decent profits at green dragons.

So for members who have been signed up for two weeks the chances are pointless LOL

I also do mining and smithing. Coal trucks arent f2p though (I hope not anyway! )

77 smithing, 75 mining. as fun as addy bars sounds, I stay on mithril. Adamantite ore is a nightmare to mine! If you buy the ores (like I do if Im bored of mining), addy ore is 5 times more expensive sometimes!

Oh I thought the coal trucks were free to play

http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/...he_coal_trucks - doesn't say if they are or not sadly.

The biggest advantage to being a member for me is some of the fantastic coal mines

Yeah, I used to be really in to mining & smithing when I first started, but then I got really bored of it and bought members. I think I got to around 66 mining and 60 smithing as F2P. To be fair I don't think members is really worth it as a new player as basicallt all of the low level stuff (on the F2P skills) can be done as a free player.

When you have the levels/ability make those steel bars into cannonballs while at the firnace. More XP and money rolled into one trip.
