Imagine Lost_Witness is retiring from Hotel Manager of Habbo UK, and you became the next hotel manager! I want you to tell me something that you would change in Habbo or something new you would bring to the hotel. Post all your answers in this thread, good luck!

If I was hotel manager (which I would pwn at), I would scrap the stupid credit furni prices and I would introduce the concept of an actual cinema and an actual TV. As we pay for our beloved credits, we could use these to pay to watch things, not big films as that takes up too much time, but we could watch short episodes of programmes we like.
I would also allow people to customise their room layouts (with boundaries as they cannot be totally wacky). This would be useful if you wanted to for example make a extravagant theme park. Expanding on this concept, you would be also able to decide where the door is placed as most people would like that option and also you would be able to choose where to put stairs.

If I was hotel manager I would first get some of the richest people on habbo and make them share their furni to new comers. I would give each person who signed up three rares to sell and make some credits. I would allowed one day a week for a fansite to advertise their radio and whoever gets most listeners in that week gets to be on the main site. I would get rid of all lags and then make sure that the scammers are out by having a bot go to every game undercover. I WOULD PAY ATTENTION TO THE REPORTS I GET SENT and I would make sure that they are fully resolved.

I would bring the real celebrities to Habbo instead of members of staff pretending to be them. And last of all I would send all the money from people texting and calling for credits to a charity because we get enough money with the company.

I would be an awesome Hotel Manager.

Following the marxist model I would instil economic redistribution measures whereby the richest people would have a moral obligation to pay for those on lower incomes, this would lead to a more healthy and prosperous Habbo economy. This would then of course require all Habbos to contribute to the state otherwise the economy would be threatened with collapse and the state should therefore not be expected to care for them. This would however of course be a long term goal which I would work towards.

Here is my 10 point plan to reaching this goal:

• Step 1: Withdrawing Habbo from the gold standard
• Step 2: Renaming "Habbo Hotel", "The Habbo Social Union [HSU]"
• Step 3: Getting rid of the capitalist elements in the system such as the unfair and disproportionate tax on credits
• Step 4: Establishing a compulsory work scheme for those who are not in work as support staff which seem to be non-existent and the moment
• Step 5: Giving everyone access to the elitist VIP and Habbo Club clothing
• Step 6: Establishing a system of care for those who have been mentally scarred through scamming
• Step 7: Getting rid of Moderator bureaucracy and giving the power back to the people, reinstalling Hobbas
• Step 8: Placing an outright ban on "Rares" which are only accessible by the bourgeoise
• Step 9: Increasing the minimum pixel wage to 200 pixels per hour
• Step 10: Commence using the other hotels as a "sphere of influence", leading the way for a Habbowide socialist uprising.

Together these measures would create a more open and equal society, giving every Habbo a chance to prosper and flourish wherever they come from. Currently the wealth is distributed amongst the few and the masses live below the poverty line. A person is considered to be in relative poverty by the UN if he or she earns less than 60% of the average wage, many Habbos are earning nothing and there are people out there with hundreds of thrones. This is neither an equal or a fair society.

I'd let you re-colour any item of furniture in habbo by simply clicking on it, new option to 're-colour' and then select a colour

Firstly, i'd remove the tax on the credits so 1 credit coin will cost 1 credit etc.

I would interact with the Habbo community more and do much more events and go to random rooms for a chat. I would do weekly competitions, such as Skizzling Saturday (would be Sizzling Saturday) where users will answer a question on the article on that day and the winners will be picked at the end of the day and they'll win a rare bundle. Also, every festival such as Christmas i'll get them to send in clips of them singing and i'll get a group of people and do Habbo Christmas song, something like that. Every user that entered would recieve a badge. And also when new users sign up they'll recieve a few norms and I would do weekly giveaways.

I'd get lots of new mini features made, such as a radio player in the Habbo client which you can select a fansite such as Habbox and also an option to turn it on/off in your preferences. I'd also get more furniture made and do more campaigns such as the Themepark campaign where users had to make a themepark in 2007 I think but this time introduce actual themepark furniture, e.g. Hotdog stand, parts of rides and rollers but you can rise them. And I would make new items of clothing for Non-HC/VIP members so they won't feel left out.

I would interact with Habbo fansites much more and allow them to do official Habbo events but they'll have to prebook before doing it. I would also have more fansite weeks and make fansites come closer. And i'd also speak to Sulake and try and get the rule that fansites ain't allowed to sell premium services removed.

I would also get a group of well trusted Habbos and remake the group Scambusters and Bullybusters, their job is pretty simple, they would go around Habbo and look out for scamming and bullying and report it to a head Scam/Bullybuster and it would be passed onto me and I would investigate the issue.

I would remake the Habbo Council where users can pop along and suggest ideas to our council members and try bring them to Habbo and have weekly/daily quizzes ran by the staff.
