So here's a story of why I'm banned for the next decade.

Upon recommendation by the Habbox Help Desk, I want to share my story with you so it doesn't happen to you. I was hanging out in my room, when some people originally from .com came in, and admired my childline furniture, including my super rare Moodi Machine. Everything was well and good, until somebody came in, questioning me about the Moodi. With enthusiasm, I replied that I may sell it if the price was right. He was also intrested in my set of childline teleporters. I gave him a price of for them, after he foolishly offered me 6 credits for them. I told them I'd start at 40HC sofas. Why? Because I follow Habbox for my rare values. I told him that most .co.uk players use habbox for their guide to rare values, because of it's longevity as a reliable and official habbohotel.co.uk fansite. I tell him that most UK players use this website efficiently for their rare values needs, and hoping to help him understand the value of these rares, I directed him to habbox.com.

Then I froze.
Then this happened.
Banned until 2021. For giving out "scam sites" Below is the official reason from habbo.

Completely and utterly shocked, I had no idea what to do. I immediately went to help.habbo.com and filed an appeal for my ban.

In conclusion, I want you ALL to know. Hesitate on mentioning habbox.com, because if you do, you may just end up where I am.

that is rather weird. habbo is corrupt. if they bother reading your appeal, they will most likely unban you.

Wow, thats Silly.
I make events all the time advertising Habbox.com, I also advertise the site & nothing happens to me.
Maybe Habbo has a grudge on you?
Good Luck getting un-banned, Habbo are useless at looking at appeals.

Moderators are only allowing .com official fansites to be mentioned, it has always been the same they are as harsh as hell on .com. You could be banned for mentioning Habbox easy. I did a lot yesterday in rooms but I have the official fansite representative badge so wouldn't get banned for it.

But that still doesn't make sense! They can't go 'oh hi you have an official fansite badge so you can advertise that site even though we're not letting anybody else do it'.. :S

Instantly banning anyone who mentions an unofficial fansite makes sense though....

This takes the cake for proof that Habbo Moderation really has gone to the dogs. I think games like Maplestory now have better moderation then this one!
