Default Satire Pie’s Guide to Money Making.

Not really a guide, but a list of ways to make money. You can research these methods on your own, but if you're too lazy, post and I'm sure someone will explain in more detail.

Everyone wants to make money, right? Well... Here are a few ideas. Don’t waste money buying guides... 99.99% of them have well known methods that you can get for free with a little research and/or common sense.

Here are a few ways to make Runescape cash. There are obviously more ways... Feel free to share them on this thread.

    Dragon Bones and hides
Blue dragons in Taverley would probably be easiest. You can make more GP/H if you have a BoB familiar.

    Charging Air Orbs
This requires 66 magic. Buy unpowered orbs, charge them at the air altar (requires cosmics and air runes), sell them.

    Runecrafting
Making deaths via the abyss will make you 300-400k an hour. Requires 65 RC and the quest Mourning's Ends Part II.

    Farming
Grow herbs! Herbs take about 80 minutes to grow and you can grow at least 4 at a time. Sell the herbs for profit!

    Charging Glory Amulets
Buy uncharged glory amulets, charge them via the heros guild (or with a geyser titan) then sell the charged glories. You can usually make 1k+ profit per glory (depending on current GE prices).
*There's a limit to how many you can buy from the GE per day but you can still buy them from players

    Tanning Hides & Making Planks
Most people are too lazy to do this themselves therefore pay extra for the already tanned hides and planks. This doesn't require any skill nor does it give you any experience, but it will make you money.

    Collecting Frost Dragon Bones
Requires 85 dungeoneering. These have dropped in recent months but still a good source of income. BoB familiars help increase GP/H

    Slayer
Profit varies but at higher slayer, you should be making profit every task. Sometimes millions. Be sure to invest in a gem bag... Slayer monsters tend to drop a lot of gems. Slayer monsters also tend to drop a lot of herbs, rune items and monster specific drops such as whips, dragon boots and dark bows. Invest in a good weapon and a healing familiar to aid slayer training.
You could also camp at certain monsters once you have the required slayer level... For example, you could camp at the abyssal demons and hope for whip drops.
You also get clue scrolls a lot while training slayer! Rewards can add a little bonus to profit (or sometimes a BIG bonus if you get lucky).

    Make Unfinished Potions
Lots of profit to be made here but prices change so it's best to experiment. Try buying herbs, making unfinished potions and reselling them. Play around with added %, often unf potions will sell above the average price.

    Herb Collecting
Aside from farming, you can collect herbs by killing aberrant specters (if you have the slayer level) or even chaos druids (which are combat level 13 so almost anyone can kill them). Bank the herbs! BoB familiar will help increase GP/H

    Flax Collecting
Boring but anyone can do it. Spin the flax into bow strings for extra profit (and crafting exp)

    Herblore 2nd Collecting.
Collect it... Sell it. White berries, potato cactus, fungi etc are quite profitable.

    Fishing
Pure profit! not the best but good to get you fishing skill up while earning some cash.

    Mining
Same as fishing. Once you hit 77 mining head to the living rock caverns which you can semi-AFK at

    Smithing
Making steel bars and/or cannonballs is profitable and you get smithing exp to boot.

    Woodcutting
yews and magics yield the most profit. You will also get added income from bird nests and seeds.

    Kingdom Management
Requires the completion of "Throne of Miscellania" and optionally "Royal Trouble" (for more profit).
It can cost up to 75k a day but in return you get resources such as logs, fish, herbs and ores. I personally have it set to collect herbs and maple logs. You will also get nests if it's set to collect logs which are a nice little bonus

    Hunting
Red chinchompas and swamp lizards are particularly profitable. Heavily populated by bots for a reason! Don't feel guilty for stealing a bots place... most of them are slower than you so it would be easy to steal the spot. Just make sure they're a bot and not just a quiet player

    Warped Tortoises
If you've done/started the required quest (The Path of Glouphrie). These little beauts are very easy to kill and drop tortoise shells which sell for 10k+. They can drop up to 3 at a time. Although the tortoise shell is uncommon, with tasks of under 200, I usually get about 40 shells. That's 400k+ for 1-2 hours. They also drop swamp tar (which is stackable so pick it up), noted mith, noted coal, rune, mith and adamant items (take alch runes if you don't want to bank them).

    Boss hunting.
I don't have much experience with this but I know others have made good money from it.

That's it. If you have any more methods, feel free to post them... There are hundreds of ways to make money but hopefully these few methods will help you.

If you need to find out any information about monsters, locations etc, I suggest using the following websites:

And if all else fails... www.google.com

I know this was probably aimed at my thread, and as I have never had a confrontation with you before before this and don't know for sure if its me who you aimed that is at, I won't say much but this:
My guide is not mentioned above.

No, I have no idea who you are nor do I know the contents of your guide. Nor did I suggest in any way that it contained your guide.

In recent weeks/months there have been quite a few "how do I make money?" threads or threads similar to that... The thread yesterday where someone was selling your guide was perhaps the jump start I needed to actually write this.

As I said in the original post, this isn't really a guide... Just a bunch of methods.

Okay, well this is very nice of you

I have one suggestion though, add the method on changing eggs to cockatrice eggs using summoning. It's about 600k per hour if the prices are right.

    what about regular tortoises?

the tortoises in the gnome stronghold are weaker than warped tortoises (if your combat isn't so high), and still drop 1-3 tortoise shells
used to fix usertitles n stuff

I believe the drop rate is lower than warped tortoises. It's an option but I've only ever killed warps, so I can't offer any advice on drops from normals

And BigN, thanks for the egg idea... Not going to edit it in because I can no longer edit the original post, but I'm sure people will see your comment when reading this thread

    Oh I see

Well if you don't have the required slayer level or a particularly good combat level, then the level ~72 tortoises are the only option really!
