The Full Story - Version Eight

I'll try and hit all the points of V8 here so we don't get lots of people posting about it. If you have a problem about this all questions must be directed to my manager.


1. The 'Hand' has been upgraded. Now you have 2 arrows and a Close button.

2. The 'Digital TV' shows a game of 'Battle Ball' instead of 'Fuse Motor Racing'.

3. They have new dances for Habbo Club members. I'm not sure about these as I'm not HC. The original dance is kept for normal people. It also has a little added bounce.

4. There is a new game called 'Battle Ball'. It has 4 ranks:

A: Newbie: 0 - 10,000 points.
B: Amateur: 10,001 - 100,000 points.
C: Expert: 100,001 - 500,000 points.
D: Professional: 500,001 points ^

The aim of Battle Ball is to get the most points, by getting squares your colour. Once you've gone over your square enough times, it lights up and is locked to your colour. People can steal your squares if they haven't been locked. It costs 2 tickets to play.

Also, if you linger in the Battle Ball lobbies for too long, you will be Autokicked, wether you like it or not. They don't give you much choice.

5. Habbo Club and Tickets are a little cheaper when you buy in bulk. Here's the rates:

1 Month: 25 Credits
3 Months: 60 Credits (Save 15 Creds)
6 Months: 105 Credits (Save 45 Creds)

5 Tickets: 2 Credits
17 Tickets: 6 Credits (2 Free Tickets)


6. Two new Clubs have been opened. Club Mammoth and Club Orient. They are strictly Habbo Club only clubs. For the first time there is actually a 'Clubhouse'. Or two.

7. There is room queues. So if you're trying to get into a room you will get a message saying: There is x Habbos and x Club Members ahead of you. I am presuming Habbo Club members finally get to skip the queue.

8. When registering, things are a little different, and same when you're changing your mission. Nothing huge.

9. When you sit down, the Dance button goes kaphut. When you stand up again, it reappears.

10. The purse now shows the amount of tickets you have as well as the amount of credits.

11. The Console has a new button when someone sends you a Friend Request. I'm not 100% sure what this does, but I think it blocks this person from sending any more Friend Requests to you.

12. To stop flooders, you can't constantly shout anymore. When you set your speechbar to 'Shout', after you've shouted once, you will be automatically rolled back to 'Say'.

13. Instead of saying 'bobba' when you swear, you now say 'Bobba!'. I don't know if that will come to the UK Hotel or not.


All this information was gathered by playing on the Swedish Habbo Hotel and was in no way copied. Any more information you have will be kindly added. If you want screenies, they're all over the forum.

I'm estimating (ESTIMATING) that we'll get Version Eight within 2-3 weeks.

I like this. Though if the shouting and then saying thing is true, it's gonna be annoying lol. But oh well it's only for the good.

There's gonna be a huge queue for Battle Ball.
